The Eastern Box Turtle – (Terrapene Carolina Carolina)
A beautiful and well known North American small species of land turtle.
Highly varied in their patterns between individuals, some specimens are so beautifully coloured that they look unreal.
They have an omnivorous diet.
A few babies available every year, usually in summer.
